CORNWALL, ON –(COMMUNITYWIRE)– One hundred and thirteen outside municipal workers, members of CUPE Local 234 in Cornwall, have been without a deal for 3 years and tonight they are heading to a council meeting for a rally.

This follows the local requesting a no board, which means there is now a strike deadline date of March 5.

The primary concern for Local 234 is that wages aren’t keeping up with the cost of living in Cornwall and that’s making recruitment and retention an issue.
