WINNIPEG, MB -/COMMUNITYWIRE/- The Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA), is pleased to announce that long-time sponsor G3 has committed $45,000 to BeGrainSafe for 2021. G3 is a Safety Champion for the program, the top tier of support.

G3 has partnered with CASA since 2016 for BeGrainSafe program development and delivery. In 2021, G3’s commitment will ensure the BeGrainSafe program continues to raise awareness and provide grain rescue training to fire fighters in farming communities.

In past years G3’s commitment has included the purchase of grain rescue gear consisting of GSI RES-Q-TUBES and Haul-ALL pencil augers for several rural fire departments in Saskatchewan and Alberta. G3 is making similar donations this year in Manitoba.

“G3 is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for our staff, customers and neighbours in all the communities we serve,” says G3 CEO Don Chapman. “We’re pleased to expand our support for the BeGrainSafe program.”

CASA’s grain safety program, BeGrainSafe, works to highlight the dangers of moving grain through awareness events and provides training to firefighters on grain entrapment rescue. Sponsors like G3 have been essential in the success of the program.

“The continued support of G3 means that the BeGrainSafe program is able to reach more fire fighters and more rural communities,” says Liz Ellis Clark CASA’s Development Specialist.
